Nice to meet you.

My name is Kellyn B. Eaddy, and I’m a writer and editor who wants to bring stories to life.

As any storyteller may tell you, I’ve loved books all my life, and I’ve followed that love into a BA in creative writing degree, a master’s in publishing, and a career in publishing and communications. I’ve had amazing opportunities to learn from experienced journalists, authors, and editors. I’ve worked with major publishers and notable nonprofits to both create and shape content, and I’m fully confident that I can do the same for you.

On a more personal note, I’m a Black-Filipino woman. Those identities are wholly important to me, and they often are not reflected in the world around me. The publishing industry is overwhelmingly white, and despite recent efforts to diversify the industry, change is slow. Without proper representation at every step of the writing, editing, or production process, marginalized identities can be misrepresented, overlooked, and forgotten.

I am here if you’re looking an editing experience with a detailed and DEI lens. And I’m here if you’re looking for a voice like mine to help tell a story.
